Traveling to
St Barts

The best way to reach the island and discover St Barts is, without a doubt, by plane. Commercial or chartered connections from the neighboring islands landing daily at St Barths Airport also known as Rémy de Haenen airport (formerly Gustav III airport) are quick and simple. Helicopter charters are also available on demand.

For those whose fear of flying grows as the size of the plane decreases, arriving by sea is also a solution. Ferries arrive from Sint-Maarten several times a day and private boats are also available for hire. Alternatively, your sailboat or private yacht can, of course, be berthed or moored in the Gustavia harbor.

Private jet charter

Think about the last time you flew on a commercial flight with more than 200 people on board where one could be exposed to the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

There are over 5,000 airports in the United States that private planes can use near your home and many others in Western Europe, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. On a nonstop private flight, you can reach Princess Juliana Airport (SXM) which is the closest airport to transfer to Saint Barthélemy (SBH). Here the landing runway is only 2170 feet long and the largest plane capable of landing on this short airstrip is a 19 seater such as the Twin Otter. Operating hours at St Barts' airport are 8 AM to 6 PM and depending on seasons we advise planning your landing at St Maarten (SXM) no later than 4:30 PM because aircraft can only land at St Barts' Airport during day light hours.

They are a number of reasons why our clients switch to flying private jet and its benefits are listed below.

SAVING TIME
On a private jet, you can fly according to your own schedule from wherever you want. Avoid waiting in lines at the check-in counter, you don't need any ticket and you don't need to go through security and customs. You show up at the closest airport just minutes before take-off then you drive out onto the runway straight to board your plane.

With our VIP services, there is no waiting time during airport transfers at Princess Juliana (SXM): a customs agent will come to you and your bags will be off the plane in a matter of a minute then your private chauffeur will drive you directly to your next private flight. All of these benefits significantly reduce your stress.

CONVENIENCE
Enjoy your private flight with your party only and spend more time with your family and friends. It also provides an unparalleled level of privacy if you hold important meetings. Private aircraft allow you to travel with your special belongings such as surfboards and other cumbersome sports gear, instruments, and many products that are not allowed on a commercial plane. If you are a pet lover, flying private is great as they can ride on the main cabin with you.

QUALITY OF SERVICE
Flying on a private jet or "PJ" as it's known isn't enough. How you are treated can make all the difference. You can pre-order your favorite food and drinks and you will have plenty of room to stretch your legs in a luxurious space. They also take care of your luggage.

SAFETY
You always know the pilot, you always know the airplane, safety is number one.

From St Maarten (SXM), Winair offers private flights to St Barts on a Twin Otter plane (twin-engine and 19 passengers), St Barth Commuter offers private flights on a Cessna Grand Caravan (single-engine and 7 passengers).

We also offer private charter flights on PILATUS PC-12 NG (single-engine and 6 passengers) and private helicopter transfers on AIRBUS - AS 350 B2 (single-engine and 5 passengers) from all neighboring islands.
