During the mid-nineties, Eden Rock changed ownership from one family to another for the first time. David and Jane Matthews undertook the job of restoring the original site whilst at the same time adding new buildings and other facilities.

It is hoped that by continuing to evolve Eden Rock – St Barths into a world class family owned hotel with wonderful restaurants and Residence Club we will similarly advance the three distinct creative elements – art, music making and cuisine.
