Hurricane Lennie, with winds diminished t0 115 mph, is centered between St. Maarten and Anguilla, about 30 miles north-northwest of St. Barths, and is expected to remain there for another several hours before slowly moving toward the northeast.

Powerful winds and towering waves continue pouring in to St. Barths from the south and west making a mess from Toiny, clockwise around the island, to Corossol.

Tremendous amounts of rainfall and abnormally high tides are causing flooding in low lying areas.

If you think that this all sounds awful where you're sitting, you're quite right. It is.

We'll keep you posted as results unfold, and as long as the phone line continues to work.
