Though it is to be regretted that many things have been lost or destroyed, we have successfully recreated a feeling of a time which is gone . Oil lamps, traditional costumes, farming tools, fishing boats with their nets, capstans, sextants, are all eloquent witnesses of what it used to be.
Another important function of the Museum is the ongoing conservation of sociological and ethnographic data.
