The following calender has been provided by
the St. Barths' Office of Tourism.
November '06 1 All Saints Day -- Religious and Public holiday.
  11 Armistice Day -- Public holiday commemorating the end of World War I.
  18-19 Swedish Marathon -- Gustavialoppet -- Traditional annual race of 3 km for children and 12 km for runners from all over the world.
December '06 25 Christmas -- Religious and Public holiday.
  31 New Year's Eve Regatta-Race organised for fun around Saint-Barth
  31 New Year's Eve - Live Music from 9.00PM - Quai General de Gaulle in Gustavia. Fireworks at midnight - Parties in some restaurants.
January '07 1 New Year's Day -- Public holiday.
  8 Three Kings Day -- "Galette des Rois" -- Epiphany cake served at all fetes
  26 St. Barth Music Festival -- Jazz, Chamber, Classical Music and dance. Gustavia and Lorient churches. Until Feb. 7th.
February '07 16 Carnaval School Parade -- in the streets of Gustavia
  20 Carnival -- Beginning of Mardi Gras; costumed parade concluding with the burning of Vaval, at Shell Beach. Most businesses are closed.
  21 Ash Wednesday - Burning of Vaval (King of Carnival) at Shell Beach.
March '07 8 International Women Day - commemorate by the Lyceum Club - City Hall
  29-31 St Barths Bucket - A three day invitational mega-yacht race.
April '07 8-9 Easter week end - Public and religious holiday.
  26-29 Caribbean Film Festival- Caribbean Films and Filmmakers - AJOE/Lorient.
May '07 1 Labor Day -- Public holiday
  1 Annual archery competition proposed by les France Archers
  8 Armistice Day -- Public holiday.
  4-12 Theatre Festival of St Barthelemy organised by SB Artists
  17 Ascension : Religious and Public Holiday.
  27 Pentecost - Religious holiday
June '07 3 Mother's Day - Families celebrations
  17 Father's Day - Families celebrations
July '07 7 Fête de l'Anse des Cayes et Anse des Lézards - Music, sport, show and ball
  12-14 Fishing Contest organized by Ocean Must.
  14 Bastille Day - Public Holiday.
  16-30 St. Barths Volleyball Cup - a series of matches beginning 16 July.
  28-29 Fête des quartiers du Nord - Flamands - Contests, Regattas, animations, and fireworks.
August '07 9-20 Boubous Music Festival -- Hôtel Christopher
  11-12 Fête des Quartiers du Vent - Regatta, music, and fireworks in Lorient.
  14-15 Pitea Day -- Religious and public holiday commemorating the special relationship between St. Barth and Pitea, Sweden.
  15 Assumption Day - Religious holiday
  18-19 Festival of Gustavia -- Regattas, dance and fireworks at Quai du General de Gaulle.
  24 Festival of St. Barthelemy -- Patron Saint Feast Day. Church and official ceremonies, regattas, public ball, fireworks in Gustavia.
  25 St-Louis Festival -- Village of Corossol -- Fishing contests, Regattas, public ball, and fireworks.
  27 Seniors Day -- Special entertainment for older citizens.
